Emergency and Disaster Services
During emergencies it is important to get trusted, timely and accurate information. The Village has partnered with the MD of Big Horn to use the Voyent ALERT! System. We encourage all property owners and their family members to sign up for Voyent ALERT!. For more information and to signup go to: Voyent Alert | Municipal District of Bighorn, AB and follow the steps to get set-up. You can receive notifications by email, text and/or phone call. There is also an app you can download to your phone.
Mandate:
To develop and maintain on a regular basis the Municipal Emergency Plan for the Summer Village and advise Council on the status of the Municipal Emergency Plan and related plans and programs at least once each year.
